The Quarantine Songbook—J to Z

Did you do your homework yesterday? I ended up giving this songbook assignment to 8thgrade, telling them to choose one title that expresses their feelings and elaborate a little bit. I gave them an example of my own little poem:

“Things Ain’t What They Used to Be,  but maybe that’s okay with me.
Some wars have stopped, less cars are driving,
The flowers in my garden thriving.
I miss my friends, I need a hug,
But now I’ll do some work for Doug!”
