Other Things I Haven't Done

Yesterday’s title made me think of things I’ve never done in my life, many of which were expected of my often-confused gender. They include: 

 

• Fired a gun.

• Visited a house of ill repute. 

• Fixed a car engine.

• Gotten drunk. (Really!)

• Initiated a break-up with a girlfriend.

• Killed an animal larger than a mosquito. 

• Watched any of The Godfather movies.

• Sucked up to my boss.

 

Then there are things I might have liked to do which I still can.

 

• Plant a garden. 

• Read Moby Dick.

• Visit the Pyramids.

• Learn how to play snare drum.

• Master Chopin’s Fantasie Impromptu. 

• Teach an Orff workshop in Antarctica (completing my teaching on every continent!)
